truncate(string, number)

Description¶

Length argument must be enclosed in backticks; ex. "{{request.object.metadata.name | truncate(@, 9)}}".

Examples¶

truncate('foobar', `3`) == 'foo'

truncate('hello world', `5`) == 'hello'

truncate('short', `10`) == 'short'
